Walden Park belted Galloway beef is grown on rich, red, volcanic soil at 650m altitude ion Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, Springhill, just out of Trentham.
Their animals are bred with genetics from Australia’s finest belted Galloway studs and a heritage originating in the harsh hills of southwestern Scotland. They are a hardy and slow-growing breed producing beef that is full of flavour.
The animals drink crystal-clear spring water and are grass fed and grass finished. Only low-stress stock handling is used.
Immense care is taken of the soil biology by rotational grazing through perennial pastures renovated using Soilkee technology and without the use of synthetic fertilisers.
